Courses focus on teaching methods to develop concepts, designs as well as technical implementation of industrial products as well as design-related services in national, international and intercultural contexts. This includes the following subjects: design theory, design basics, concept development, design conception and methodology, conceptual and creative methods, design projects, universal design thinking, design discourse as well as many practical exercises. The practice-oriented education ensures that you develop social and personal competence such as systematic and goal-oriented thinking, the ability to organize and manage complex design projects, work collaboratively in teams and deal well with conflicts. You  become a confident designer personality by combining theoretical knowledge with intuitive competence as a result of experience-oriented and excellent studies. Throughout the course, you develop efficient self-management skills to be able to systematically structure your individual workflow.

At completion of the Bachelor’s program graduates receive a degree that enables them to work successfully in various fields, from planning to development to presentation of design products and processes in all areas of the design industry. Graduates will be qualified employees who are able to self-sufficiently analyze task and project requirements, develop solutions and work productively to realize interdisciplinary projects.
